This beautiful stag minstrel bureau was refinished in a charcoal grey mineral paint. The inside has a mix of decoupage using the classic Hicks Hexagon wallpaper by Cole & Son and painted areas in a coordinating teal paint. The edges of the cubby holes have been finished in bronze metallic paint again to pick out the colours of the wallpaper. The hardware has been cleaned and resprayed in a bronze/copper finish and the legs have also been given some metallic detail to tie it all together. The bureau has then been varnished for additional protection.

Stag Minstrel is high quality, British made furniture using African cherry wood (Makore). The classic designs allow them to blend in perfectly with many interiors.
 
VINTAGE FURNITURE
All items are cleaned, sanded, cleaned again, primed, painted and varnished to give a high quality and durable finish. Decoupaged areas are protected with multiple coats of varnish. I take great care and time in every item I work on to get as a good finish as possible, however as with all hand painted, vintage items please do not expect a factory finish.

Tiggy Lou Creations is based in Cheshire (SK9) and local collection is welcome.  The delivery charge is for nationwide delivery by a professional one-man courier to the ground floor of your home (except Highlands, Islands and Cornwall, where you can contact me for a quote).
