DESCRIPTION
This handsome Jaycee oak sideboard has been in my furniture stash for sometime now just waiting for its chance to be brought back to life. It did not disappoint! Jaycee was a leading UK furniture maker based in Brighton known for its quality oak furniture with beautiful carved details. Made from solid oak, it has been refinished in a neutral paint shade called Sisal to fit in most interiors. An antiquing glaze has then been delicately added to some of the carvings to highlight the detail and add a subtle aged look. It has then been protected in multiple coats of water-based varnish. The top has been stripped, sanded and varnished to show off the golden oak. The original hardware has been retained and updated with an aged bronze finish. The dimensions are; width 186cm, depth 49.5cm, height 86.5cm. The doors open into two sections with a shelf in each. This sideboard would look stunning in so many interiors – farmhouse/country style, traditional, eclectic etc. and could work in a kitchen, dining room, living room or even a large hallway.

The sideboard is in good, used condition. All doors and drawers open smoothly. I take great care and pride in my work and strive to achieve a high quality finish. However vintage furniture may come with minor imperfections, which is all part of the charm of buying vintage, upcycled furniture.
