About Tiggy Lou Creations - Bespoke Refinished Furniture

I'm Helen, owner of Tiggy Lou Creations.  I'm passionate about restoring old furniture and love ways to avoid taking items to landfill or always buying new.  As they say - they just don't make things like they used to!

 

I take old, dated furniture and give it a good dose of "TLC" by stripping old finishes, sanding, painting, refinishing wood, or adding some pattern with wallpaper decoupage.  I can take on commissions by transforming furniture that you already own or I can source a suitable piece of furniture for you.  I also create my own designs to sell.  If you visit my online shop and find it empty it's because I'm busy with commissions!

 

For hand painted furniture I only use high quality water based paints and varnishes. Decoupaged furniture is finished with multiple layers of hard wearing varnish.  Where the beauty of the wood needs to shine through I can also refinish the natural wood.  I take time and care in every piece I work on to ensure I am completely happy with the final look.
